EPISODE 30 – AGP (Amanda Gilliam Presents) Phil Machi

On this episode of AGP, I welcome my guest Phil Machi. Phil Machi has been making comics since 1996 when he introduced his first long-running series “Livestock” to the world. Since then, his company of the same name, Livestock Productions has been the umbrella for numerous series like “Peter Meadowdale”, “Retail Sunshine” and “The Phil Show!”. A staple in the corporate magazine of Best Buy for 2 years, his comic strip “Retail Sunshine” has enjoyed 2 publications, several in-store murals and plenty of merchandise along the way. Phil’s latest story “Orientation” continues his tradition of humorous story-telling with animated expressions and the signature look that the series is known for. Phil has many projects in the works including a graphic novel about dinosaurs and the return of his classic “Livestock” characters in an all-new series! When he’s not drawing, he’s developing audio entertainment in the form of the sketch comedy variety show known as ‘The Phil Show!’ and the new nerdy podcast “Nate Has an Hour to Phil”. So please join us to learn more about Phil and his work in the comic industry.
